Jim Stasiak: Photographs and Improvisations

1st – 31st March 2024

Last Saturday we had a lovely opening event that marked our new collaboration with Sherman Artists Association. Jim’s photography is eye catching and well worth calling in to see. The work on show is a mixture of print on metal and framed photographs that would grace any wall. You can see Jim’s work at LAND throughout March.

Also mark your calendar for Sunday 24th March when Jim will be giving a talk about his work.

Take Home a Piece of Pawling

LAND Gallery is firmly rooted in Pawling, New York, we are home to inspirational photography, artworks and a curated artisanal gift gallery. The Gallery proudly represents local photographers as well as a number of hand picked and outstanding local artisans. When you buy their work you can truly #takehomeapieceofpawling 

This month our Pawling exhibit highlights images from the Appalachian Trail taken by gallery owner Jane Haslam.

The Appalachian trail winds its way through Town taking in features such as Nuclear Lake, Cat Rock, The Great Swamp and Pawling Nature Preserve, during the Summer we are truly a trail town and if you haven’t done so LAND recommends that you stop to speak to some of the many through hikers as it can be fascinating.

The images showcase just what a  beautiful environment our little town sits in. If you haven’t walked any trails locally you really should, although if this isn’t possible come on in and have a look at our local landscape through Jane’s eyes. You will find Jane at the gallery on most Fridays / Saturdays and she is always happy to give advice about local trails and views.

In addition to a wide selection of wonderful landscape and nature photography LAND also represents woodturned work by Ed Bryan of Hudson Valley Workworking, Artisan soap and other body products by Holmes based Genevieve Jan, nature inspired jewelry by Karen Ostrom and some wonderful ceramics by Ann Heywood from Wingdale.
